Shiva Temple

The Shiva temple is the main temple of the Prambanan complex.At the time of my visit this temple was closed
Inside the temple were statues of Shiva, Ganesha,Agastya and Durga Mahisasuramardini.On four sides are Bas reliefs depicting the legend of Ramayana

Garuda temple

This temple is one of the three wahana or vehicle temples.This emple symbolizes Vishnu's vehicle,which is represented by a bird. The statue is missing.

Angsa temple

Ths Angsa temple symbolizes the vehicle of Brahma which is a Swan.The Angsa statue is missing

Nandi Temple

The Nandi temple symbolizes the vehicle of Shiva and is represented by the sacred Bull
The sacred Bull is known as Nandi in Hinduism.Behind the statue of Nandi were found the statue of the God of the Sun and Chandra. Both Gods drove carriage each dragged by 7 horses (God of the Sun) and 10 horses (Chandra).

Brief Description
Built in the 10th century, this is the largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia. Rising above the centre of the last of these concentric squares are three temples decorated with reliefs illustrating the epic of the Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma) and three temples dedicated to the animals who serve them.


普兰巴南寺庙群

建于10世纪的普兰巴南寺庙群是印度尼西亚最大的湿婆神建筑群。六座寺庙在同心广场的正中间拔地而起：其中三座主寺庙饰有罗摩衍那史诗的浮雕，分别供奉着印度教的三位主神（湿婆、毗湿奴和罗摩）；另外三座寺庙为守护神灵的动物而建造。

Brief Description
This famous Buddhist temple, dating from the 8th and 9th centuries, is located in central Java. It was built in three tiers: a pyramidal base with five concentric square terraces, the trunk of a cone with three circular platforms and, at the top, a monumental stupa. The walls and balustrades are decorated with fine low reliefs, covering a total surface area of 2,500 m2. Around the circular platforms are 72 openwork stupas, each containing a statue of the Buddha. The monument was restored with UNESCO's help in the 1970s.

婆罗浮屠寺庙群

这座著名的佛教圣殿，建于公元8世纪至9世纪，位于爪哇岛中部。整个建筑分为三层。基座是五个同心方台，呈角锥体；中间是三个环形平台，呈圆锥体；顶端是佛塔。四周围墙和栏杆饰以浅浮雕，总面积2500平方米。围绕着环形平台有72座透雕细工的印度塔，内有佛龛，每个佛龛供奉一尊佛像。该遗址在联合国教科文组织的援助下于20世纪70年代得以重建。
